How often do you meet?

Iowa City Silent Book Club meets twice a month for silent reading sessions. Check our events page for more information.

How do I join?

To join our chapter, simply show up at the designated location at the designated time for any meetup! Please check details of events, some require an RSVP.

What is the best way to stay up to date?

We frequently post on Instagram and Facebook. However, we also have an email newsletter for those who do not engage with social media.

Is there assigned reading?

At our meetups, members bring a book of their choice - there is no assigned reading!

How do I sign up for your newsletter?

Our chapter sends out a bi-weekly newsletter to inform non-social media users of our meetups. You can find the form to sign up for our newsletter in menu bar.

Do I need to attend every meetup to be a member?

Not at all!
